With the exception of the first track (which got a weekend of computerising) all the songs here are unedited low level single takes from ad hoc pick a tune sessions or rehearsals at Riverside. The recordings are feedback for the musicians to make the time beneficial. There is no post production - what you hear, you would have heard in the room. Some very fine singers have taken the trouble to travel to Riverside and turned in great performances given the low key situation.
